Well, folks, I've hit a plateau.
I weigh the same this morning as I did LAST Monday morning. I've been working out, and eating healthy. I worked out more than normal, actually. (If you haven't tried The Biggest Loser: Boot camp you should! It's amazing.)
This is the part of weight loss where it gets frustrating. It's easy to stay motivated when the numbers on the scale are going down. But, when they stay the same it's hard to keep going with the same momentum.
I'm going to keep going. I'm going to push through this week and cross my fingers for some results next Monday. Hopefully.
Gotcha beat... I gained .7 lbs even though I ran every day, lifted weights 3 times and ate rabbit food all week. Kinda want to scream. I best be losing weight next week.

Plateaus suck, but at least you didn't gain! Maybe it's muscle building up, hopefully next week will show a loss!

Last time I lost wieght I hit a plateau and just kinda gave up. I wish I hadn't. I know that at a point, your body just settles in, but that's the time to really start pushing it - which is sounds like you've been doing. It will come off - keep going because you're doing great!
ReplyDeleteRemember since you're working out - you're adding muscle, and muscle weighs more than fat! :) You should measure yourself each week because the scale lies sometimes!

ReplyDeleteI've lost a lb. in the last 3 weeks- THREE. Ugh. And the only reason for that is because I started a super strict diet my doctor recommended! Shouldn't working out and watching what you eat be enough?! SO with you girl.
